Let's clarify right now that I am talking about nude - the color. 
It showed up on the runways in Spring 2009 and 2010. As more designers choose to keep it clean & chic, what better color to choose then nude.
You won't just be seeing nude clothes, it's appearing every where. For instance, nail polish. Marc Jacobs choose to have his models rock the pale nails down the Spring 2010 runway. I absolutely love the colors he used from OPI's line; Samoan Sand, a warm beige-pink; Malaysian Mist, a light and sunny warm pink; Barefoot in Barcelona, a luscious nude; and Dulce de Leche, a sweet creamy nude (SOURCE: Bella Sugar).
I probably will purchase the OPI colors shown above because they just scream clean & flirty spring to me. There are a pair of nude Brian Atwood pumps that I would LOVE to add to spring wardrobe though.
However you choose to enjoy this trend, have fun with it & remember - it's just a trend. Don't take it too seriously if it doesn't work out the first time around! xo.
