Recently I participated in
Kaileen Elise's Good Karma Gift Swap. You're probably wondering what the heck it is, right? Well Kaileen was fabulous enough to organize this event on her blog. I simply submitted a comment stating that I would like to participate. A few days later I received (via email) a survey of questions asking me about my likes and dislikes, ways in which I like to relax & indulge, etc. Shortly there after I received my gift swapping buddy information.
Needless to say I had fun picking out gifts and getting creative for a person I did not even know, besides what they answered on their survey. As they say, in order to receive you must give. Sure enough on a Friday afternoon I received a box from my gift swapping buddy - Kaileen!
It felt like Christmas morning or better yet - my birthday! Everything was wrapped so nicely & Kaileen took the time to write something to go along with each gift...
Isn't this the sweetest? Needless to say I will be participating in the next
Good Karma Gift Swap. I had a blast shopping for gifts to make someone else's day and of course, receiving a box full of treats isn't so bad also.
