Make your virtual savings REAL! How you ask? Well, say you buy a $100 jacket on sale at 50% off and pay $50. Have you really saved $50? Noooo. Not until you take that $50 and put it into your savings account. Viola! Now, you have saved $50. Even if you still don't consider yourself a saver, this is the perfect strategy to start with.
When shopping jot down the actual dollar amount that you saved, then transfer the amount right into your savings account. Once you start seeing your savings grow it gets addicting - in a good way.
