Charming Necklaces and Bracelets
I came across Max & Chloe, a site where you can find a variety of different jewelry lines. Blu Bijoux has some great accessories at decent prices, which allows you to stack and/or layer. Starting with the basics in your wardrobe and then accessorize the crap out of them is a way to stay within your fashion budget without compromising style.

Pantone Fashion Color Report: FALL 2009
Today marks the first day of autumn on the calendar. Even though the weather here is still in the 70's during the day, the morning and evenings are starting to have that chill in the air. This gets me excited to switch over my closet to my fall/winter wardrobe. Since I did some major renovations of my wardrobe this time last year, my fall/winter selections are very minimal right now. I had the pleasure of showing 5 lovely lady friends around Soho this weekend, so I picked up a few basic pieces at UNIQLO. I am such a huge fan of the store, it carries all your basic necessities.Starting to go through your fall collection? Take a peek at Pantone's Fashion Color Report for this season and add some of these hues to your wardrobe. At the end of the report designers recommend how to use color to stay fashionable on a budget!

Emmy Red Carpet Top 5
Here are my picks for Best Dressed on tonight's red carpet...
Drew BarrymoreSimply lovely. The dress is very ballerina-esque, other words I want this dress! Her hair completes the look.
Blake Lively GORGEOUS! Seeing her in this dress is such a motivator for me to get back to my Pilate's and yoga routine.
Kate WalshShe told E! her clutch was from Aldo and her hair was done by Suave Professionals. Looks great, way to keep it recession chic.

NY Fashion Week: Temperley London SS2010
Alice Temperley maybe starting a new trend. Instead of a catwalk she showcased her work with a presentation coupled with global installations. There are lots of benefits from showcasing your line as a presentation. The viewers can actually take the time to look at the details. The inspiration for the Spring/Summer line is the circus.Enjoy photos from the collection's presentation...
New York Fashion Week: Whitney Eve SS2010
Whitney Port debuted her line Whitney Eve at NYFW. Of course many of you are familiar with her background in the industry from her reality TV shows "The Hills" and "The City". Personally, I am a big fan of Whitney. Whitney says she always knew she would like to be a designer and had just taken some shortcuts along the way.Whitney's Spring/Summer collection is a "Alice and Wonderland goes to a really chic cocktail party. The line includes mixing metallics, colors and structured jackets.

As much as I love LC (Lauren Conrad), Whitney's line definitely has a high ranking on my list. I am in love with the mixing of colors and textures. The line has a care-free feel that reminds me of Whitney's personality. Check out the entire collection here. Thursday, September 17, 2009
New York Fashion Week: Betsey Johnson SS2010
Oh Betsey, how I love your fun & energetic style. You did not disappoint during NYFW. Betsey Johnson held her show at the Palm Court at the Plaza. Coincidentally she will be redesigning Eloise's room at the hotel. I cannot wait to see it! Betsey recently told reporters that she plans to get back to her "true self" with this collection. And that she most certainly did.Johnson's collection was a bit more redefined and moved to a more "posh" style, but don't worry she didn't give up the leopard print or the jumpsuits. Those are now offered in a neater and sleeker silhouette. Each look was accompanied by a over the top flower and scarf accessories.
Here a few of my favorite looks from the collection.

Johnson's work might seem over the top to some. Once you take away the runway hair and makeup you can find something that suits your "fun" side. I absolutely love the dress I purchased in April for my Golden Birthday celebration. In fact, I plan on taking off the flower and wearing it as just a simple black dress to a friend's wedding in October. Check out Johnson's complete collection here.
Fall Borghese Nail Lacquer
Borghese Nail Lacquer is my new favorite nail polish. Their polishes have high shine and are long-wearing. Of course they also have hydrating benefits and a silky application. It's the European version of luxury nail polish. I tried their Mauve color on my hands and toes. Not only did I receive lots of compliment, the color was to die for. I highly recommend the Presto Fast Dry Top Coat ($9) as well. The line has 48 shades of impressive colors inspired by the hues of the Italian landscape and culture. Overall, you will not be disappointed. Borghese Nail Lacquer is located in select drug stores and Ulta.

Inside look at Mercedes-Benz Star Lounge
The runway at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week will feature spring looks, while the backstage Mercedes-Benz Star Lounge will reflect a design inspired by the elegance and speed of a Mercedes-Benz convertible, combined with the beauty of Bryant Park in the fall.
To create this season’s Star Lounge, Mercedes-Benz enlisted a trio of design experts including Maurice Villency, Variegated and Rollout for their elegant furniture, sophisticated textiles, and clever wallpaper designs. Their collective designs aim to transport lounge guests to the splendor of Bryant Park’s natural trees in a dramatic space that is relaxing and reminiscent of the interior of a Mercedes-Benz vehicle.

The Mercedes-Benz Star Lounge contains elegant furniture including highback Malmoe chairs with Variegated designed covers that use various shades of green and leaf patterns to create an appearance of small trees planted around the lounge providing the room and furniture with a vertical presence. Two Sapa sofas feature tufted leather sides and details reminiscent of luxurious automobile interiors including back cushions that pop to create a headrest. Two pairs of Port chairs with a unique combination of leather and upholstery offer the welcoming shape of bucket seats.

New York Fashion Week: She By Sheree SS2010
She by Sheree line consists of several evening dresses, a few ensembles for a night out on the town, a yellow top and dress that are casual enough for Sunday brunch or a powerful suit to wear at the office. Her line was small but consistent. It's apparent she choose quality of quantity, which we all can appreciate right now.
