SHECKY'S Girls' Night Out

Last night the girls and I enjoyed a Shecky's Girls Night Out. If you have been following this blog for awhile, you know that I am a loyal Shecky's client. The event was held at La Venue downtown.

The overall theme with each clothing boutique was vintage-esque!
You literally can say what's old is new again.

Le Sportsac was there selling bags 50-60% off!

Herbal Essence Lounge, where you received a hair consultation and hand massage.


And of course, the beer tasting portion...
We tasted raspberry, lime, wheat and the new bloody mary beer.

Barbie's Malibu Dream House

Last week in Malibu, CA Matel hosted a party at the real-life verison Barbie's Dream House designed by Jonathan Adler. The dream house was complete with a closet is filled with 50 pairs of pink peep-toe heels while her kitchen is stocked with cupcake-making ingredients (I wish!!!). An in-house museum features 25 vintage Barbie dolls on display. In the garage? A pink Volkswagen New Beetle with a motorized pop-up vanity in the trunk.

This weekend I decided to spend my last $10 on the Sephora Gift Card I had. I purchased Miss Cherie by Dior perfume. I figured it would be a great pick me up for those "Monday Blues".
