SPRING AHEAD: Spring 2008 Forecast

I know, I know...we have barely made it through half of winter but its time to start looking into spring fashion. In September I attended Fashion Week & caught a sneak peak at the trends. While your out shopping for spring/summer warobe keep this in mind:

  Watercolors and versatile neutrals are the colors of the seaon. Go to http://www.pantone.com/ to get download the Fashion Color Report for Spring/Summer 2008. These 28 pages include top designers and sketches of their creations for the upcoming season. Oh, and my favorite their 'Must-Haves' list.

Henri Bendel visit

Shay and I ventured to Henri Bendel's a few weeks ago. We came across makeup artist, Manase, who works for NARS cosmetics. Personally I am a loyal MAC fan however Manase persauded me into trying NARS. He calls MAC "junky", which I strongly disagree, but I am always up for trying something new.

I learned applying fake lashes to the outside of eyes makes your eyes look bigger.

Overall, the experience was amazing. In under 10 minutes I had a fresh, glowing face. I figured out how to get the "sunburnt cheeks in the middle of winter" look. You have to use an orange/reddish tone blush...who would have thought!

He used NARS Blush in Exhibit A on me, which I am considering investing in.
